DAY TRAINING

Let us train your dog for you!  We will come to your home, and in just three weeks, your dog will learn the following commands:

• Look/Focus
• Sit
• Down
• Off
• Stay
• Place
• Wait
• Leave-it/Drop-it
• Come (Recall)
• Loose-Leash Walking

We will also introduce your dog to a variety of people, places, other animals and many different sights and sounds. He/she will learn how to greet people politely and remain calm and attentive in the presence of distractions.  We will also work on correcting any unwanted behaviors such as excessive barking, digging or jumping on people. 

We will come to your home twice a day, four days a week, for approximately one hour each session. There is a transition lesson at the end of each week where you, the owner, will learn how to handle your dog while performing the new commands learned that week.   

Training locations will include your home and neighborhood, as well as pet stores, outdoor restaurants, lakes, parks, and other dog-friendly locations that you will approve prior to the start of the course. 

At the end of the program, you and your dog will demonstrate the ability to perform all commands.   You will also demonstrate that you have the knowledge needed to correct any behavior issues that may require additional practice beyond the three-week course.  

Once you graduate from this program, the training is guaranteed for the life of your dog.  If, for some reason, your dog forgets a command, we will re-train your dog on that command free of charge.

As with all of our training, only positive-reinforcement and reward is utilized.  This course is for dogs 5-months and older.  No previous training is required. 

A consultation is required to determine if your dog is a good candidate for this training.  There is a $50 consultation fee that will be deducted from the cost of the training, if your dog is accepted.
